Hello,

I am trying to update my Microsoft Exchange 2001 to Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP3.

However, this wild error message, which says there are environment problems detected, appeared:

I re-installed "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1" but the wild error message showed up again. How can I debug this?

Thanks!

Error:

Some product functionality will not be available until you fix the following issues found in your system: – Active Directory is not available for the specified user. – Cannot create MAPI profile. Probably, the user does not have a mailbox or Microsoft Exchange MAPI and CDO are probably out of date. Microsoft Exchange 2007 update error

Without updating, you may be doing the work of installing a new product after un-installations of Microsoft installation 2001. This should solve the problem. However the error speaks that the environmental path may not have a variable to the user current directory. The previous installation may be creating the problem.  Some tags in the previous system are creating the problem. The wild error is removed on simplifying the procedure. If you get to the site, and then download the original copy for the software and that your O S is of Windows XP SP3, then you may install on the O S specified.

Thanks.
