Malwarebytes error during the installation of the program

Hello,

During the install of Mawarebytes this error appeared and closed the installation. I have downloaded the installer from a trusted website and is fully compatible with my new installed Windows XP. Does anyone can tell me more about this error ? Why I have this since I made a new install of Windows XP ?

Hello,

Such issue isn’t uncommon that your installation becomes corrupted. Make sure that no existing installation of MBAM is present on your PC. To do so, download this MBAM Removal Tool.

After fixing with this utility, install the latest version from Malwarebytes. Download Malwarebytes.

Also, before installing, try any other security applications, for example, Norton, Kaspersky to find out any viruses.

Now, try to install Malwarebytes and it should go fine.
