Hi! I have a problem with my MacBook. I once plugged in a USB cord, it suddenly turned off. I then connected the adapter and it gave off a dim green light. My MacBook wouldn’t switch on since the incident occurred; not even the fan or the light. I have tried using the combination of keys Ctrl+Command+Power but it didn’t get me anywhere. Please help me figure this out. Thank you.

MacBook turned off on connecting USB cable
Hellow William_Jefferies,
There are some reasons for the sudden power off the MAC book.
-
Your MAC Book might be used for overtime and cause overheating.
-
Your USB device might not be responded
-
USB Device might be infected with powerful spywares .
Now you can do the following to get rid of this problem.Â
-
Remove the power adapter from the Mac for several seconds.
-
Shutdown the Mac. Physically remove and re-insert the battery (if it's removable) and startup the Mac.
If the issue is still not resolved an System Management Controller should be reset .
Best Regards
Shifflet Laurel
