According to Digitimes, for quarter three Apple may be going to release a MacBook Air priced at $799 which would help to put pressure on ultrabook. Is it rumor or true? What would be the expected release date?

MacBook Air priced at $799: rumor or not?

 

Hello there!

Apparently, that is still a rumor since Apple have not released statements regarding confirmations about the lesser price of $799 with MacBook Air. People were intrigued at the lesser price Apple will give for their MacBook Air which, rumors have said, that it may touchdown markets later this year. Rumors stated that they (Apple Inc.) consider releasing a budget-priced MacBook Air to compete in the market for the upcoming second wave of Ultrabooks. Since there has been no confirmation whatsoever, we may just have to wait for further announcements with Apple regarding this matter.
