What is the concept behind the term Metal as a Service (MaaS)? Is it logically possible to add hardware to your existing infrastructure through a web interface? What is the benefit of such a model? Are there any apparent risks here? What is a service orchestration tool? What exactly does it do and how?

Metal as a Service(MaaS) setups the hardware and makes physical servers to be treated as virtual machines in the cloud. It deploys any type of service which comes into picture dynamically. So, it introduces cloud to the physical servers. To make the system MaaS, the computer machines must send their hardware configurations firstly. If MaaS makes okay, then we can make use of it. The main advantage with MaaS is simple web interface and changes can done easily done. MaaS is fast, reliable and scalable. The drawbacks are setup and cost issues. MaaS works along with the service orchestration tool called “Juju” to make deploy its services fast. To coordinate the workload and applications and to meet service requirements Juju is useful.
