Lyx Editor and LaTex any Difference?

Lyx is a sub layer process wherein LaTex is being encoded. Both are not comparable with each other as they do not represent the same approach or use. It is like comparing a pencil with paper. Lyx is used for LaTex system to be compiled with so that the result may be seen. In addition, Lyx produces LaTex files or you may convert the LaText file to Lyx.
