Looking for PHP CMS for Classified Website?

Hi Techyv Experts!

Can anyone give me advices on what CMS to use? I am looking for easy to use and easy to set up PHP CMS for Classified Website. If you have tried any CMS in creating a classified website, I would love to hear your advices. Can you also provide the features of the CMS and why do you think it is the best PHP CMS to use? Have you tried comparing it with other CMS? Your help will be much appreciated.

Hello,

There are "arguably" 2 highly competitive Content Management Systems ranking above other CMSs at the moment: WordPress and Joomla!

Both work well for managing a website, but WordPress is best for smaller websites. It does not incorporate the multi-layered multi-user framework that Joomla possesses. Joomla scores higher in websites that requires multi-user privileges, custom database work, high level administration etc.

WordPress, on the other hand is the simpler, feature-rich and easy to use tool for developing your website. 

If your classified website would not need a lot of high-level administrative functionality, then you could go for WordPress; but if it is a larger website where you might need to have different categories of users with different privilege levels, then Joomla should be a better option for you.

Hello Alicekdailey,

 

               If you want to use a content management system then I suggest you to use WordPress. As it is THE PHP code type thing. All you need is to manage the things and you have to write less code in it. For this you have to download the software and you need to download a local host so that you can test your website and for other thing. You can get the software from the below link.
