Where can I get NVIDIA optimus Graphics card for notebook? Is it possible to upgrade Alienware M15x laptop with its own graphics card to NVIDIA GT450?

If you were in my town I would have suggested you better places to buy these.

Right now I can only suggest you MXM and eBay. You can just search the required card over there and do some negotiations and you are good to go. For your question regarding if you can upgrade, yes you can upgrade your M15x up to 560M. 

You need a GTS450M, so it will probably fit in your laptop. The only problem here is if you can find it over the internet because changing a laptop graphics card is not that common and not everyone does that. Also do keep in mind the WATTAGE usage of new card. If it exceeds the current battery limit then it will cause problems for you. So better look at this before upgrading.
