I am getting too many pop-ups, but when I tried blocking them, I failed to load pop-up blocker assistant ActiveX control issue. I have blocked all pop-ups, but still they appear. Need help.

This problem might arise when the website giving pop-ups is marked as a trusted website or is in the local intranet zone. Try removing the website from these categories by going in the browser settings and then tools and then remove the website from the required list. This works in most cases.
