Looking for a file counting software

HI guys,

I am looking for a good file counter program; I would like one that will give me a list count of all the files in a directory and how much space they take up, if possible I would like it to also be able to sort out different file extensions and counting them.

Please assist me by telling me where I can find such a tool, thanks friends.

The good file counter program that has also work best to my friends is 'Hermetic Word Frequency Counter Advance Version' this software scans text files such us; ANSI text file, HTML file, XML file, etc

The application program counts the number of occurrences of the different words or the specified words or phrases (optional matching specified patterns). The words or phrases found can be listed alphabetically or by frequency, with rank & frequency displayed for each one.
