You can have this done by doing a remote desktop connection on both the computers. You can also use screen sharing applications like GoToAssist, but that is fee based though. There are a few free options that you can try, this includes an application called TeamViewer. This allows you to control the other computer from the other and vice versa as long as both computer have access to the other; namely the computer id and the pin/password to connect. Both computers need to have an internet connection and should be turned on for sharing to work, otherwise one computer won’t be able to access the other.

Yes, that’s possible with TeamViewer. You just need to make sure that both computers are connected to the internet and logged in to TeamViewer. If TeamViewer is not running on the other machine, connection is not possible.

From TeamViewer 10 up to TeamViewer 13, the application requires Microsoft Windows 10. For users with Windows 10, download the latest TeamViewer 13. TeamViewer 13 is the latest version at the moment. For users with Windows 98, Windows Millennium, or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a, you can use TeamViewer 3 until TeamViewer 6.

For users with Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or Windows Server 2000, you can use TeamViewer 3 until TeamViewer 8. For Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008, you can use TeamViewer 3 until TeamViewer 13. For Windows 10 version 1607 Anniversary Update, Windows 10 version 1703 Creators Update, and Windows Server 2016, you can use TeamViewer 11 until TeamViewer 13. For Windows 10 version 1709 Fall Creators Update, you can use TeamViewer 12 or TeamViewer 13.
