Hello Expert

I am using windows xp sp2 with 2 gb of RAM. I am looking for the software which diagnosis my RAM. I want a powerful memory test program which can perform extensive tests to identify if anything is wrong with my computer memory.

Anyone tell me where can i get to download boot memory for free of cost.

You can use MemTest  for reliability testing the RAM. This software runs at Windows XP and supports 32-bits and 64-bits CPUs. It’s a freeware tool and you can download from this link: http://download.cnet.com/MemTest/3000-2094_4-77167.html Just click on Direct Download Link and the downloading will run. With MemTest you can ensure that your computer’s RAM is functioning correctly.

Windows Memory Diagnostic is a free memory test program provided by Microsoft. Very similar to other RAM test programs, 

 

Windows Memory Diagnostic performs a series of extensive tests to determine what, if anything, is wrong with your computer memory.

 

Important: You do not need to have Windows (or any operating system) installed to use Windows Memory Diagnostic.

 

Simply download the installer program and then follow the instructions to create a bootable floppy disk or ISO image for burning to a disc like a CD, DVD, etc.

 

After booting to the disc or floppy disk, Windows Memory Diagnostic will automatically begin testing the memory and will repeat the tests until you stop them. If the first set of tests finds no errors, chances are your RAM is good.
