Learn How To Rip DVD To Computer Windows 7 using VLC

Hi. To learn how to rip DVD to computer Windows 7 using VLC, first, open the software after downloading it. It is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Insert the DVD which is to be ripped. Click on the file and then open the disk. Click on DVD and subtitles, audio tracks, save option can be selected following the settings button. Under output, select the file option. Select the encapsulation method as either MPEG1 or MP4.

Next, select the browse option and select the file adding to it the file extension for the encapsulation method selected by you. Click on save and then click on OK. Click on OK to start the transcoding and wait till the DVD rips completely which might take an hour or so. Once it gets over, play it on the media player supporting the file.
