The error with code 10061 is a Connection Refused fault by the server. You could not establish a connection with the target system actively rejects for the same. The most common reason is a server with incorrect configurations, or if a client specifies an incorrect port.
Perform these steps to switch your connection Port for an FTP site
This error normally happens when you are using an FTP client like FileZilla or CuteFTP. “10061” is a “Connection Refused” error sent by the server. This makes your connection request to the target computer to be denied. The error is often caused when you specified an incorrect port number in the FTP client. Another possible cause is if the server is full.
In this case, you should try at a later time. The error can also be caused by your firewall or antivirus blocking the port. To make sure your antivirus is not blocking your FTP client, add your FTP client to the exclusions list. In your antivirus, go to “Settings” then expand the real-time protection setting. Look for “Exclusions” or something similar and select it.
Click “Add” then navigate to your FTP client installation folder and select the main EXE file and then click “OK.” Once your FTP client is added to the exclusions list, the antivirus will stop monitoring your FTP client’s activities.
