Hello everyone, I want to setup an IMAP account in MS Outlook. I want to ask about the outlook imap smtp settings while setting up an account. Can someone explain about SMTP settings?
Here’s how to setup an IMAP account:

1. Select the option Manual setup or additional server and after that, click Next.
Â
2. Then, choose POP or IMAP from the next window. Click Next.
Â
3. Now, Enter your display name and email address on the next screen and the IMAP server names. Use your email address for the field account name and then enter your password.

4. In the field, Incoming mail server, input imap-mail.outlook.com
Â
5. In Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, enter smtp-mail.outlook.com
Â
6. After that, click on More Settings.
Â
7. Under Outgoing Server tab, enable outgoing authentication.
Â
8. Under the Advanced tab, select SSL for the IMAP and TLS for the Outgoing server(SMTP). Change the Outgoing server port to 587.

9. Click OK.

10. Then, click next and exit the dialog.
