Hi experts,

While my PC was opening this error appeared on my desktop. I verified all my startup programs and the folder is empty. I did a small search on the Internet and nothing useful was found. Does anyone have any idea about this error? How can I solve this, please help me!

Thanks!

Yes, it is normal for the startup folder to be empty because usually all startup applications are not stored on that folder. You can always find them in the Startup tab of the System Configuration Utility which is accessed with the command “msconfig”. But adding a program in the startup folder is the easiest way of making your application to start with Windows.

And it is also the easiest way of removing them from starting automatically. In your case, if you don’t see any programs in the startup folder, then you can find them in the System Configuration Utility. To learn which program is causing the launch error, click Start, Run, and type without quotes “msconfig” then hit Enter.

Go to Startup tab and uncheck the first item on the list. Click OK and restart the computer. Visit Constraint Violation Error to learn the complete steps in finding the name of the buggy program that is throwing the launcher error.
