Laptop built in webcam is not functioning properly

Hello,

My laptop webcam is not functioning at all. I do not find any application or option with which I may be able to open it. The webcam function is new to me and I do not know any software in particular required to make the webcam work. Should someone know of any method kindly help me dealing with this issue.

Hello Adriel.

Have you done anything to make the malfunction on your camera? Did it fall or ever get wet? Did you change any settings whatsoever? First of all I need you to know the model of your laptop and try typing in the model on Google. Also make sure to check all the contents of your laptop's box. You might find the CD for the software of your camera. Trying checking your laptop's manual as well. Another possible solution is for you to go to your laptop's service center.
