Dear Friends, I am planning to donate my old PC, before that I would like to clear the entire data, as few confidential data are there, which need to be removed, so that I will never be restored. My friends told that Jetico BCWipe will help me, I need to know whether it will clean entire data including the OS, Is there any way to do that, Please advice.

Hi Nicholas,

BCWipe  is a software utility that has an option of permanently erasing all data from the entire hard drive, which includes boot records and operating system files. That is only if you choose that option.

BCWipe data wiping software has also an option that enables you to permanently delete files selectively.

You can create your own wiping settings by selecting only the files or directories that you want to be deleted.

So whether you want to delete just a file or everything including the OS, you can make your choice.

Hi,

Well, Jetico BCWipe is one of the most useful data remover, but you can do it with other software's or in other way.Like if you are a Mac user then you just follow the picture.

                                                             

Or your operating system is Windows then you can use the Eraser software. It will help you. On the other-hand you can also use this software DBAN. It's free and easy to use. Or you can watch this video:

Hello Nicholas Kevinn,

You can have the option to format your hard disk that thing can help you in deleting the whole data from your computer including your OS. But you have the option to lock the folder after that you can delete your data. Because folder lock cannot be access if it is in rar file.

BCWipe is commercial military-grade data ensure software for windows. It can help you to delete the data beyond the data recovery. It is a best thing if you have some important data to delete.
