Is it true that IRC ban MAC OS? I've read in one forum that soon Apple will ban all IRC programs such as MIRC. If this is true why would they do that. I find MIRC very helpful and for me it remains a good "social networking" site. Have you heard of this rumor?

You are indeed right that Mirc remains a good social networking site, even I grew up using Mirc.
Unfortunately, IÂ haven't heard any rumors that Apple will ban all IRC Programs. I even checked their website, but there isn't any news that they're going to ban IRC. Maybe those rumors weren't true.Â

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is long time sustaining technology in computer world. And as much as apple is concerned they are not going to ban IRC programs.Â
After reviewing MIRC site where this Internet  Relay Chat (IRC) client is in work since 1995 and still in working fine. It is mainly designed for windows and there is no way that Apple is going to ban it. It is just rumor.
