Hi Experts,
It’s about GOM Video Converter. While installing GOM Video Converter for the first time certain codecs were installing automatically. After sometime it threw an error message:
GOMÂ ENCODER Setup
Installation Aborted
Installation of the program was canceled
downloading failed:connection to host
                                 Back       Next       Cancel
I do not know what to do now.
Please help me.

While installing GOM video converter it installs some codecs to convert certain files which are not compatible with certain operating systems.
Make sure that the software you are installing is compatible with your operating system.
It seems you are using windows 7. Try to install the windows 7 compatible software.

Hello
When installing Gom.

Click on the installation file and right click.

Then select run as administrator.

Click accept and try the installation again
If that does not work then your codecs could be corrupted. Download Microsoft Fix it Codec here.

Download and install
-
Run the application
-
Click scan
-
Follow the prompts
I would also recommend installing VLC player instead.
As it plays almost any video and audio format and is free.
