Issues when creating home group on Windows

Hi!

I recently purchased a WD TV Media Player and I am planning to create a home group on my computer. However, when I tried creating the home group, Windows said it can’t be set up.

Can you tell me what could be wrong? I’m looking forward to your response.

Issues when creating home group on Windows

Hello Walsh James,

You are in need of creating a home group and therefore you should be forming a home network for the computers I guess. Are sure that you are using the right procedure? And also to create the home group, you must be logged in as the administrator will full privileges.

So just right click on my computer when logged in as the administrator, and then click on system properties. I am assuming that you are using windows 7.

In the window that will open click on change settings and then change the workgroup name and then save the changes. Do the same to the other computers you may be having.
