IPod could not be restored with error 3200

Hi,

I was trying to update my iPod to IOS5 when I got this error message. 

The software downloaded successfully but when the update started error code 3200 happened. 

What should I do next? 

What would happen to my iPod data? 

Please help!

IPod could not be restored with error 3200

Many iPod users around the world are facing this problem like you. Don’t be afraid. Where there is problem there is a solution too. This problem is basically occurs from the Apple server, not from your iPod or iPad or iPhone while updating to iOS 5.

A site Gizmodo.com has reporting that by downloading the IPSW and updating manually really works. To do so download the firmware you need, open up iTunes and Option + Click the ‘Check for Updates’ button.

Browse or locate the firmware file downloaded and install it that way. Please do follow the instructions given in Gizmodo website:
