IPhone Always on Silent Mode

I can’t exit my iPhone on silent mode. No matter what I do, it’s still the same. Is my phone broken?

IPhone Always on Silent Mode

Hi,

You need the process of turning of the silent or ringer mood turning on or off

Please remember these steps

1. There is a volume control switch at top left side of iPhone. Above that switch, there you can see another switch.

2. If you want to turn the silent mood off, then slice the button downward

3. If you want to turn on the silent mood, then slice up this button.

4. If the vibration mood is on, the phone will vibrate also while turn on the silent mode.

If it does not work, then it is hardware problem I think.

IPhone Always on Silent Mode

 

Sometimes setting your phone in silent mode is very handy especially if you are busy and don’t want anything disturbing you. But on the other hand, if a problem happened and your phone doesn’t want to come out from being in silent mode, this would also be a big problem since you will be stuck on receiving different alerts or maybe receiving calls. To fix it, first try flipping the “ring/silent” switch upward located on the side to hide the orange shading.

If that didn’t work, go to “Settings” then tap the “Sounds” tab. Check all the switches under the “Ring” slider if they are all set to “On” then drag the slider all the way to the right. If that didn’t work either, you may now try restarting your phone. Press and hold the “on/off/sleep/wake” button until you see the “Slide to Power Off” red prompt bar. Slide your finger across the prompt then wait until your handset turns off. Press and hold the same button again until the Apple logo appears to turn it back on.

If that, too, didn’t work, the last option is to reset your iPhone. Press and hold the same button together with the “Home” button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

Hi Techyv adviser, your comments were extremely distinctive and thanks for expressing your views through your comments. I was really stuck with this problem although I have navigated many sites but all became in vain. This site is very productive because all of the problems regarding technology are on this site.
