iPad and android tablet ownership have evened out this year, 52 to 51 percent, as compared to 72 to 32 percent last year. What do you think will eventually be the factor/factors which will eventually make one of them the runaway tablet king in the years to come?

Gradually, the Android users are increasing in numbers against already existing Apple users. Even the big IT giants like Microsoft and Google are concentrating on making more features available keeping Android as a concern. Google provided an open source OS for Android. Microsoft is also targeting to make a breakthrough in market with its windows phone keeping belief in Android. Android is currently struggling bit to compete with Apple in providing some applications and features. For example, Facebook Page Manager which is developed for IPhones is not supported on Android. But still there are alternative ways to manage Facebook pages on Android using third party applications. Using Apple products restrict the user to use the applications belonging to same Apple company where as Android users enjoy the freedom of using any application. Hence eventually, Android tablets take the ownership on the market though it is a long way; it seems to be the most end result, if Apple continues the same strategy of designing products with more interdependencies.
