I’m not sure if there is a much newer version of Microsoft NetMeeting aside from version 3.01. But anyway, in case you haven’t downloaded it yet and for those who want to download it, visit Microsoft NetMeeting 3.01. Once downloaded, run the installer “nm30.exe” to install Microsoft NetMeeting 3.01. Just follow the instructions to finish the setup.

After the installation, you need to configure it before you can actually use it. To configure, click Start, All Programs, and then select NetMeeting. Click Next. Enter the correct information for the First Name, Last Name, E-Mail Address, Location, and Comments. When you are finished, click Next. By the way, the information Comments and Location are optional.

Check “Log into a directory server when NetMeeting starts” then enter the name of the directory server in Server Name. This is also optional. Check “Do not list my name in this directory” if you want to hide your name in the directory. Click Next and then pick the correct location for the shortcuts. Click Next and then follow the directions in the Audio Tuning Wizard. Finally, click Finish.
