We use DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) for various purposes. Most of the users like the software.
Also, we use a number of utility software to increase our internet speed.
I use DAP for download. Yesterday, I removed this software to reinstall an updated version.
However, the installation failed. Why?
It gives me an error message: you are not authorized to use DAP.
I know DAP is a free version. It also has a shareware option.
But it can be used for free.
So please tell me why I cannot install it?

I don’t know  the exact nature of your problem.
But  you said that when you tried installing it again you don’t have permission on it.
I suggest checking all previous files of the application because sometimes they can cause this error.
Before reinstalling it again make sure that all previous files have been removed from your system.
After that you can install it again. In addition, you can upgrade your application without uninstalling your application.
It’s automatic when you download the upgrading file in your system.
If the error comes again I suggest that contact your administrative support for further info about your issue.

Installing error DAP for my PC
If the updated version won’t install after uninstalling the old version, try installing the new version over the existing version without uninstalling. This verifies if the problem is with the installer or with the way you installed it. If the new version or the updated version failed to install, install the old version back. Once the program is installed, start the application to see if it is working.
After this, double-click the installer for the new version to install the updated version over the existing version. See if this works. Also, try downloading the latest version. Go to Download Accelerator Plus and download the latest free version. A premium version is also available for purchase if you want a much faster speed than what the free version can offer.
