Installation problem with Nokia software updater

Hello trouble shooters,

Whenever I try to update my Nokia phone through Nokia software updater I stuck up with this error. There is absolutely no problem when I installed the software in my system. I tried to reinstall the software and tried again but no use. I also to switch off my phone and restart the system even this is not helped. What might me missing? Please help me. Thanks.

Installation problem with Nokia software updater

This problem happens when there is something misshaped inside the Nokia Software Updater. Uninstall the old one. Then, download the latest one from here. Then, run the update again.

Also, disable your firewall program while the update because firewalls block unknown file/data and might make trouble. So disable your firewall.

You can also use Nokia PC Suite instead of Nokia Software Updater. Download Nokia PC Suite.

Installation problem with Nokia software updater

It seems like your Nokia software is missing some files that’s why it cannot do the updating. To fix this, try reinstalling it. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Nokia software among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install your Nokia software back. See if this works. Also, try downloading Nokia PC Suite 7.1.180.94 on FileHippo.

After Microsoft purchased Nokia, the Nokia website stopped offering downloads for the Nokia PC Suite.
