Installation issues of Telerik Sitefinity 4.0 SP1

Hello,

The following screenshot shows the problem I am getting during installation.

 

Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2010…

A newer version of Telerik RadControls is already installed.

Kindly tell me what does this installation failed means and if it work, will only the newer version  be used?

Tell me about this problem.

Installation issues of Telerik Sitefinity 4.0 SP1

Hey Ynna!

There is no need to worry about this problem. Actually you have already installed the latest version of Telerik sitefinity. Now there is no need to install Telerik sitefinity 4,0 SP1, because that is the old version of Telerik sitefinity.f you still want to install Telerik sitefinity 4.0 SP1, you have to remove its newer version from your PC. After removing it again run the setup of Telerik sitefinity 4.0 SP1. It will finish the installation without any error.

If you want to remove Telerik sitefinity from you PC, go to Control Panel and Add/Remove programs, find for the Telerik sitefinity and click on the uninstall.

After this run the setup of Telerik sitefinity 4.0 SP1
