In IMAP access can I use this account name uiucusernamemailbox?

Hi,

I want to know if for IMAP access where the username represents your account and the mailbox is a resource mailbox or another user’s mailbox. can I use an account name of this type: uiucusernamemailbox.

Please tell me if you know the answer.

Hi,

The username in IMAP access represents your account.

This is usually in the type of [email protected]. 

It is apply to recognize your account.

The mailbox is a resource mailbox provided, the Incoming mail server supported by POP3 and Outgoing mail server supported by SMTP.

This type: uiucusernamemailbox is not a valid account name.

Hello there,

It looks like you need help with IMAP Access. First I want to Inform you that uiucusernamemailbox Is not a valid format. Your IMAP account is represented by your IMAP username. Usually IMAP user is provide in a common format used for mailing address ([email protected]). The mailbox is a resource mailbox which is supported by POP3 for incoming mails and SMTP for outgoing mails.
