An Image Capture Wizard error

Hi all,

I've got a problem. Whenever I try to run image capture wizard, I get an error message. That is:

Image Capture Wizard has failed with error code (0x800704CF). For more information, please contact your system administrator or helpdesk operator.

An error message appears and it tries to say to log on it:

Failed to run the last action: Capture the Reference Machine. Execution of task sequence failed. The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help. (Error: 800704CF; Source: Windows).

Please put some advice for me.

Hi Alden Clayton,

Image Capture Wizard has failed with error code (0x800704CF) is probably caused by a network drive issue problem. From what is stated below your error message event log saying “the network location cannot be reached”, it basically means that image capture wizard is unable to access your network drive.

It could be caused by a limited access in your user account, or should the user account you are using has no permission to access the drive, or still needs permission. Regardless of the problem, just check and make sure that you have enough rights to be able to access the network drive.

Just add a user account, and try it again. If it will not work, then partition your drives, and place image capture in the second drive; this should probably do it.
