Im looking for an online PDF word count application

Hi.  I have just created a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat 10.  Is there an online PDF word count application that can also count characters and symbols?  I use Mozilla Firefox if that matters.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,Dorothy,

The is an online website called http://felix-cat.com/tools/ which you can use to count including characters and symbols.

It does not handle MS office files but on the other hand it does not require to be downloaded hence it can be used from any platform and from any browser.

There is also another site which can perform PDF word count called :

Hi Dorothy,

There are a lot of PDF word count tool but not all counts symbol I found a few that can count words and symbols. All you need is to upload your file and let them count the words on your PDF.

• http://www.docwordcounter.com/ –  it supports .doc, .pdf, .txt, .docx files with a maximum file size of 15 MB. It counts the number of Standard words, Chinese, Japanese and Korean words, Numeric words, Symbol and non-standard words.
• WWW.GLOBALRENDERING.COM – this is free and easy to use word count website.
