Hi guys,
I just got the latest from futuremark.
I’m having problems running the test in 3DMARK06. I do like the first game test and the benchmarks finish ok and then I get this error message:3DMark06
IDirect3D9::GetDeviceCaps failed: Not available (D3DEER_NOTAVAILABLE)

I’ve searched all over got nothing of real help.
Anyone with an idea or solution?

If you are using Direct X try to update it by reinstalling. Some of the files might have been installed wrong. You can also check for online updates since your version might not be compatible with your operating system already. You can also download the hotfix for your system and make sure they are downloaded correctly. You should also clean your drives just in case some bugs are causing the problem. If you've reinstalled it and there is still a problem, you can go to RUN and prompt for dxdiag for a diagnosis. If the diagnostics still come clean, it might be the 3D Mark itself.
