I want your opinion on this little issue I got when I am burning a DVD, I get this problem.
I want to know whether it is a hardware or software problem?

According to me the problem that you are facing is a hardware problem. I personally faced the same problem with my HP DVD burner. If you still want to check if it is a software problem or not you can just use another DVD burning software. In that case i would recommend you to try "imgburn" it's free and very easy to use.

One thing you could do is download Hirens CD fromhttp://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ which includes some hardware testing programs. You’ll need to burn it onto a CD or USB drive (instructions available on Hirens’ site) and boot the PC from that. It’s not guaranteed to find the fault, but it’s worth a shot.
I think it’s a defect of your DVD drive. You need to check that if the lens of the DVD is clean or it contains dust if the lens of the DVD drive is not clean then it can cause of such error as you shown in the question screen.
