Hi All,

Can you please tell me all about the Windows 2008 R2 server and its configuration? I will be installing Windows Server 2008 R2 it in one of company’s server.  I want to know its difference from other operating system because this the first time that I’m going to install this kind of server.Any Help and Thanks!

Windows Server 2008 R2 has server and desktop virtualization. This is made available with Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

This is enabled by Desktop Services and Hyper V. This version also allows for improved management for a more efficient facilitation of your virtual and physical data centers. It has enhanced automation for routing day to day admin tasks as well as an enhanced management console. It also has an improved web application platform and an increased scalability and reliability.

This was also created with Windows 7 enterprise systems as a major consideration allowing for a better network experience, manageability and security.
