Hi,

I think the problem is not with the pdf reader that you have install. The problem could be with the file you are downloading. First try to open the file online rather than downloading it and opening. Check whether that file which you are trying to download is available in any other websites also. Try to open the pdf file in browser it self. If it is not possible to open in that way. Try to download the file from any other sites. Even than if you get the same error. Try installing any other pdf readers and try. This is the least priority idea. Please let me know if you need any help.

Hello Dean,

What you are getting is not necessarily a problem with the adobe reader application, though it might be. It may also be an issue with the file that you are trying to download or the site that you are downloading from.

  • You will need to check your internet connection status and ensure that it is active, for you may be getting that error due to an unstable internet connection.
  • After that you can refresh the website you are downloading the file from and then retry.
  • If the error still occurs you can try reinstalling adobe reader just in case it is the one with issues.

Regards,

Carl
