Hi,

In your case I don’t think that you are able to use the iPhone browser without the iPhone, because Normal browsers are expecting some facilities, but the iPhone browser won’t provide that facilities to use it separately.

Window kit of the iPhone driver is not matching with other browsers. It is not specified the 320 x 480 in size and also there is another option which other browsers don’t have is the maximum expendability of the scrolling option.

And plugins will not compatible with the normal browsers.

If you really want to run the iPhone browser separately just visit this site, they sometimes will give you an answer for this.

But the probability of the solution may very low but just try out.

Before I suggest what you will do with your problem, I will tell you first the specifications of a USB 3.0. A USB 3.0 transfer rate is around 3200 Mbits/s or 3.2 Gbits/s.

USB 3.0 introduced a full data transfer with five lanes which is used as a reserve in transmitting and receiving data. This means, a USB 3.0 can read and write data at the same time at full speed.

The power load has also increased to 150 MA to 900 MA. USB 3.0 in the latest interface connecting device as of now.

Now let's get back to your problem. If you're using a desktop computer, you can buy a PCI USB Card 3.0 and just install it in the PCI slots on your motherboard. But, when you buy the USB card, just make sure it has a driver in it.

Hello Ringitpelos.

Congratulations on your prize. I wish you posted the brand and model so we can have a look at what we're talking about.

USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0.

The USB-A connector of your hard drive can connect to the USB 2.0 ports of your current PC.

The only downside is you won't enjoy the benefits of USB 3.0 with regards to the data transfer speed.

If you want to add USB 3.0-A ports to your PC, you should purchase one of those add-on PCI-E cards with USB 3.0 ports.

Here's an image of what it looks like:

Take note that you need a free PCI-E 1x port (as you can see from the image above). You will also need to install a device driver. Another thing, if you will notice from the photo of the PCI card, you will need to connect one of the floppy disk power connectors to your card also.
