I am in great need of some Linux supported downloadable web spiders. I tried to find out some, but I'm not sure at all about there performance. If it's not free to download I'm ready to pay. But I need good performance.

I use http ripper, you can try it too. It is very easy and flexible to use.
It is free and it works on every website. It is undetectable and block able by servers. Here I have given you a screenshot of http ripper. It is built with python and pygtk. From the internet you can also find some tutorials of how to use http ripper.
Also you can try ItSucks 0.2.0 Beta 3, Fetchgals 5.6, WebReaper 10.0 etc. All are freeware.
