Hello there everyone.

I really need your help on these particular matter.

I wanted to have a list of all programs that come with Fedora (a package list).

Where can I find these programs and are these all free?

Hi Kpadilla, Fedora is a Linux-based operating system. Fedora is completely free to use, study and share. In other words, you can modify and distribute it. The default desktop of Fedora is GNOME, it includes PackageKIt tools for installing, uninstalling and managing software.  "Yum" program is the command line that Fedora uses, and software manages for servers without graphical interfaces or users that prefer Terminal commands.  You can go to https://getfedora.org/ for more details and list of programs with Fedora including the latest update.  Fedora software  and other Linux distributions is installed from centralized repositories.

Anyway, here are some list of Ferora desktop.

1. Fedora 17 -desktop edition Gnome ( available on 32 and 64 bit)

2. Fedora 17- KDE spin ( 32 and 64 bit)

3. Fedora 17- LXDE spin (32 and 64 bit)

4. Fedora 17- Xfce spin ( 32 and 64 bit)

Hope this help.

Thanks.
