I need help with Samsung I 9000 TomTom

Hello.  I just bought the TomTom Go Live 1005 GPS with a 5" multi-touch screen and Bluetooth for hands free calling.  Why can't my phone detect TomTom via Bluetooth?  I have the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 that has the v3.0 with A2DP Bluetooth and Android OS Eclair.  I need help with  Samsung I 9000 TomTom.

Hi,

Have you checked if your phone is discoverable? If you are not sure, then check by following these steps:

1.   Go to Application then select Settings

2.   Look for the Wireless and Networks then select Bluetooth

3.   From there, press Scan then select the device name

From that time, your device is discoverable for 2 minutes.

 

Now, let the via 120 to discover and connect with your phone. The passkey is always “0000”.
