I need free drivers for the Samsung Intensity phone

I have a Samsung Intensity mobile phone, it is the one with the QWERTY keyboard, and I don't have a CD with drivers compatible with the phone. At first I thought that Windows will automatically install the necessary drivers, but whenever I connect it to the computer, it says that Drivers can not be installed, or were not installed properly. So I came here to TechyV, in hope that you could tell me how to get free drivers for the Samsung Intensity because I don't want to pay for them, and it must be a way to get them.

Hi Richard!

There are indeed websites that provide you with drivers for mobile phones. Some of them offer you drivers for different types of Samsung Intensity, since you didn't mention the exact model you own. You can choose from there and install the one that matches your phone and/or computer. Remember to periodically update the drivers, so that you won't encounter any problem.

However, if you don't find a good driver anywhere on the Internet, you can always ask for it on the Samsung official page. They have to offer support to their customers, and that includes providing you the right driver for your computer. Also, you don't have to pay for it, just ask them.

The best place to find the particular drivers for that phone would be on XDA-developers.com. They are an android forum that covers basically everything. There are separate forums just for drivers like the ones you need, and you will also be able to find a very detailed instruction how to.  I have attached the link below for you.
