I am using Microsoft Outlook. I would to know if there’s a way to compare two outlook contacts to avoid duplications. How can I do that? Do I need to download a plug-in or something like that? If so, where can I get it?

Well, you have the easy way and the hard way..
The easy way is to use the following Add-in for searching and processing duplicated contact entries.

As for the manual way, it involves the following setps:
1. Change the current view of the Microsoft outlook contacts to “phone list”
2. Go to the “View” menu, point to “Arrange By”, then select “Customize”.
3. Go to “Fields” button.
4. Select “Modified”, and then click “Add”.
5. Click “Move Up” until “Modified” is at the top of the list.
6. Save your work and go back to “contacts” folder.
Now you can view your contacts sorted by date modified. Hence, you can select all the contacts you have add and delete it to avoid any duplicated entries.

You can compare two outlook contacts to avoid duplications by using two methods. One is software or plug-in/Add-in and another is manual process. Add-in methods is easier than the manual methods.
