I use ASP.NET 3.5 on Windows Server 2003 before upgrading to Windows 8. Now, I also want to upgrade ASP.NET because it can cross-work with MS Access. Are there any aspx upgrade software for free out there? Suggestions would highly be appreciated. Thank you.

Currently Microsoft have released the ASP.NET version 4.5 into the market. Shifting from the Version 3.5 to a version above needs many checks to be done as all applications are not compatible with the ASP.NET 4 version.
However, Microsoft has neatly documented as to whether is it right for you to shift to the ASP.Net v4 now.
They have neatly covered the pros and cons and later have given a detailed description as to how to go about upgrading your current .NET version.
