Hello there. I tried the Barcode Maker Avery Online and I already have created a barcode. I have an iPhone 3G with a barcode scanner app and it could not detect the barcode. I tried it on a different barcode and it works except the one with Avery. Anyone having the same problem?

There are some known issues with the barcodes created with some versions of Avery. While waiting for that to be resolved by an Avery developer thing, you can try some other barcode generators, like the one at the following link:

Also, make sure it is not a printer issue, as Avery barcodes should be printed using the Zebra printer to ensure the quality of the barcode.

Hi Minty,
There is another way in which you can read a barcode and this is thru the use of iPhone, iTunes and account, or Snappr to read  barcodes. Your barcode scanner could not detect your barcode because the former cannot scan all types and sizes, of barcodes. You can try using another barcode.
