I keep on receiving a Stackdocklet.dll message every time I boot up desktop can anyone suggest what could be done.

Here the problem is with the stackdocklet file which can be corrupted. To solve this problem you need to replace this corrupted stackdocklet file. Follow the instruction.

  • Backup the file before replacing it.
  • Download the stackdocklet file.
  • Unzip the stackdocklet file into the folder.
  • Run the application again.

This stackdocklet.dll is a system file but with bug and you can replace the same file by downloading this patch.

Follow these steps to download the patch:

1. Click on this link

2. Click on the downloaded zip file and extract the folder,

3. Run the patch.
