Hi Anas622,

Are you using a company or personal computer?

Is it connected via a company or home network?

If you are using a company computer while connected on a company network, you may need to check if the proxy settings are properly set. You need to go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings and set the correct proxy settings.

If you are using a home computer while you are connected to your home network, make sure that the proxy settings are properly set to automatic settings.

On both instances, you would need to run and check the settings of your Antivirus for it may have blocked the access of the other software you are trying to use. You can try to allow those applications.

It would be much of help if you indicated in your inquiry what applications it is you are using that doesn’t connect to the internet anymore. It’s quite unusual for the programs in the computer to suddenly not able to connect and all at the same time. I’m not sure if it’s your antivirus that’s causing it because there are times conflicts happen. To better check it, see if your computer is running with only one antivirus. What I mean with only one antivirus, there should not be any other antimalware software running besides the antivirus.

If your machine has two different programs running, an antivirus and an antimalware program, you should select which is best of the two. You cannot run both programs at the same time because both programs need full access to the system. If there is already an antivirus running and you added a different antimalware software, they would be grabbing each others access to the system. And this is now the conflict which possibly affects the internet access of your software.

Fix your antivirus and antimalware first and select only one. See if the programs will now be able to access the internet again after removing the other security program. If it’s still the same, a possible system update may have triggered this problem. Try restoring your computer back to the period where your programs still able to make a connection. If that didn’t work either, try re-installing all the programs that got affected.
