I can’t update Advanced Access Content System

I need your assistance,

I was trying to update my Advanced Access Content System (AACS) since I wanted to be able to play movies on BD-ROM which is more easily available. However, when I try to install the patch using PowerDVD, The above error message appears. What could be causing this problem?

I can’t update Advanced Access Content System

AACS has this intended restriction of copying of the next generation of the so called optical disc and DVD. It has this interim agreement with other company during the release last April 2005, that it's being adopted to access the restriction scheme.

The software you might have has been restricted to access it when you install the patch using PowerDVD. One of the easiest way to update and ensure no problem during the installation an update is get the latest version.

You can go and download it directly into your computer and before you transfer it to your PS3. Visit eu.playstation.com for software download which contain the updates and newly released PlayStation 3 games.
