I was very happy with the introduction of Share Play to PS4 with their recent update 2.00 update. I was expecting to share games with my friends through internet. But I think some bugs are preventing Share Play and creating other network issues. Every time I try Share Play I get errors displayed. Is there anyone else experiencing the same, kindly help me with a solution.
Before using Share Play on PlayStation 4, remember these requirements: the maximum number of players who can use Share Play is 2, both players [the host and the visitor] must be PSN friends [PlayStation Network], both players should be online, the maximum time for each session of Share Play is 60 minutes and you can immediately restart Share Play when the session ends, when the game is saved it will be on the host’s PlayStation 4, and it is only the host who earns trophies.
I guess if you are having issues with Share Play, maybe one of the requirements above are not met. For users who are new to Share Play, Share Play lets you play with a friend as if you are both on the same room. It will also allow you to hand over your controller to a visitor in case you get stuck in a game, so they can play instead.
To start using Share Play, on your DS4 controller press SHARE and then select Start Share Play from the menu then invite a friend from the next screen.
