I frequently face cisco vpn client error 442 after a few minutes of establishing the connection, my connection gets frozen at securing communication channels, and I have to terminate it after this. Help me get through this problem.

Hello, this issue is widely causing problem amongst people. It also has many methods to fix this. Just go through the steps and try them to see which one helps you out.

1. Delete all the logs and system files which are junk now.(Use disk cleanup)
2. Disable the Wireless Connection Adapter in your Network Connections and then reboot.
3. Open Run and type services.msc and then look for Internet Connection Sharing in the list and change startup type to Disabled and press stop in the status.

Press OK and then restart the VPN Client.

Or you can go to the Network Connections from the Network and Sharing Center and activate the Virtual Adapter.

Select it and then right-click on it and find diagnose option and then choose Reset the Network Adapter Local Area Connection X option,

One of the methods will solve your issue.
