There is a step by step tutorial given below to retrieve your accidentally deleted mail from Mac Operating System:

  1. First you have to install Stealer Macintosh Recovery software by downloading from the internet.
  2. You have to choose “Recover Hard Drive Files” and then have to select “Deleted File Recovery” option.
  3. Finally you will see the scanning going on and after scanning a “congratulation” message appeared on the screen and all the mails will be recovered.

Hi Kimberly,

You can recover deleted files from a MAC OS by simply going to your deleted mail folder if you have kept one, find your deleted emails and drag into your Mac Mail. It will be labelled as "Not Deleted."

But if you have not set up your deleted emails to go to a folder, simply click the "View" menu, choose "Show Deleted Messages" and this should display your deleted files. Choose the message and click "Undelete" from the top Menu.

If you still cannot find your deleted mail from the list, click the "View" menu and choose "Show Mailboxes" from the drop down. Choose "Mark Deleted Emails" and you can move it to a different folder.

Another option is to use the Time Machine program which will have an icon on your desktop. But this will only work if you have set up a disk backup using this program. Just click the backup disk to restore it to its previous setup.

Cheers!
