HP Photosmart Printer Suddenly Stops during Installation

This is my problem–I installed our newly purchased HP Photosmart all-in-one printer and was excited to finish the installation, when suddenly the process stopped after the message “welcome to photosmart express” appeared on the screen. I restarted the pc and checked if the printer is working but is not. Can you help me why or can you give me instruction to fix this. Many thanks…J

HP Photosmart Printer Suddenly Stops during Installation

Hello David,

 

Well it’s easy to fix please be sure that the installation process is finish before doing this.

Option 1: Finished installing the printer

Now it’s easy go to computer panel and look for the “Printer & Fax” if you click it you should find the model of your printer now click the Hp printer you have and set it as default printer for you to use it.

Option 2: Didn’t finish installing went hang up during the installation

Please be note that some of the programs are already installed but it’s not complete now for you to make it work please uninstall it in the control panel uninstall all the HP products that has been installed on your pc. Now reboot your Pc then insert the cd and perform the installation again but be sure to finish it and do the installation process want you to do.

If your installation process is done please do the Option 1.

Note: Option 2 is for not to have a conflict.
